Are you a Korean American Pastor?

You can help with this research project from Pastor Steve Chang (Living Hope Community Church), if you are (or know someone who is):

  1. a Korean-American senior pastor
  2. or EM pastor ministering in a Korean-American setting
  3. ministering in Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, etc)

Here’s the invite to fill out the survey:

Are you a Korean-American senior pastor or an EM Pastor ministering in a Korean-American setting from Southern California? If so, please take a few minutes to fill out a survey for a study on “Beyond the First and Second Generation: The Second Generation Korean-American Senior Leaders’ Strategy in Reaching the Emerging Third Generation.”

By completing the survey, you will be entered into a drawing for various various gift certificates from 85C Bakery Cafe, Amazon and Apple. Prizes will be awarded before Christmas. It would be ideal if you can complete the survey by December 10.

In addition to the Korean-American senior pastors and the EM pastors, I wanted to clarify a few parameters for those who did not think they should participate:

    1. If you are Korean-American and are a senior pastor of a multi-ethnic or non-Asian church, you should participate. The survey will give you an opportunity to indicate the demographics of your church to clarify.

    2. If you are an EM pastor within a Korean church but are not ethnically Korean-American, you should participate. Your perspective matters.

    3. If you are the senior pastor of a Korean church but preach in both the Korean and English services, you should participate.
