This is my short list of places I like going to for coworking, places with solid wifi and decent food to eat (I like to work away from the home office during & after lunch hours). If you find this helpful, please share with others.
- in Aliso Viejo Town Center: Chick-Fil-A, Cafe Rio, Urbane Cafe, Urban Plates, Barnes & Nobles
- Mendocino Farms, Bushfire Kitchen, Philz Coffee (at Alicia & 5)
- search for “wifi” on yelp.com
This is an old web page created back in 2014, so it’s not always updated like Yelp or Google Maps. There just doesn’t seem to be many coworking spaces in Aliso Viejo or nearby, yet. People tell me it’s because we’re too far out in suburban sprawl.
Open spaces in proximity to Aliso Viejo, California, with internet connectivity. [update] discovered that this is also called coffice or cofficing.

[@djchuang] I know professional office spaces are great for meetings and conference calls when/if you need somewhere quiet, but some people work better in an open space environment where there is white-noise and people around. Anyone with a telecommuting job can work anywhere there is an Internet wifi connection and power outlets.
