OC Easter

A county-wide celebration of the freedom found in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Sunday April 24, 9am and 11:15am
with Francis Chan

Remember life as
a kid?

Yes, crayons, goldfish, and stickers ruled the day.

But not just that...

An Easter Celebration? Why?

Start scrolling

Remember how different life seemed?

No matter what,
no matter when,
no matter where...

You could do anything.

You could be anybody.

Everything was possible.

Words
like

Failure

Inadequate

Ugly

Worthless

were nowhere to be found.

But then it happened

You’re not sure when and where...

but at some point you realized
things were not as they seemed.

And before you had time
to work it all out...

Life came at you

A loved one died.

Your parents split.

You lost a job.

Someone broke your heart.

Or perhaps you experienced something that
bound your heart and soul

Loneliness, Hopelessness, Abandonment

So you grab hold of things that appear to give life, but quickly find
they cannot satisfy

Escapism

Busyness

Apathy

Isolation

Selfishness

And life becomes this vicious cycle of

Pain and Numbness

and more

But that isn't life at all.

What if there was a way for more?

Not just the feeling you had as a kid...

But what if there was a way to grab hold of what it means to truly live?

What if

hope was still possible?

purpose could be found?

you could discover the you that was intended?

redemption spoke louder than heartache?

peace and joy ruled the day?

it was all possible?

Jesus says it is.
