I took the plunge and paid for an annual pass to WiFi access via T-Mobile Hotspot service. While Boingo had a much more price-competitive comparable offering, it’s much easier for me to find a Starbucks or Borders or Kinko’s, than to find who is on the Boingo Network. If you see me online at your neighborhood Starbucks, be sure to say hello! 🙂

Lilly’s Pad is blogging updates on the Emerging Women’s meetup near Atlanta this week. Bob is coordinating online the prayer vigil to intercede for it.
On Sunday, May 30th, Brian McLaren received an honorary doctorate from Carey Theological College. The school is located in the northeastern corner of the University of British Columbia campus in Vancouver, and it is affiliated with the Baptist Union of Western Canada. Congratulations Dr. McLaren!
I thought wi-fi hotspots would take off quicker than this. Maybe even have more spots for free in hopes it would bring in customers. But it seems not so many people pay for stuff like this… I’d consider myself a prime candidate for paying for wi-fi, but I think I’ve only done it 2-3 times max. Congrats on your annual pass… you bigger geek! 🙂
It’s hard to imagine paying for wi fi, here in Raleigh it’s free…Unless you go to Starbucks. But, if I had to pay I would. It would be hard to live without it.
