Joy At Work
Blogging is finally paying off, in a small way, after all these years (I’ve been blogging since 1999, before it was called blogging.) For a spell, it was occasional MSM [mainstream media] interviews. Now it’s an occasional advance copy of published books. This one looks very promising — Joy At Work: A Revolutionary Approach To Fun On The Job by Dennis W. Bakke. Those of you tuned in here know my ambivalence about work, motivation, profit, and competition, and the on-going and elusive struggle to connect my desires and my paid work. I may even plow through it this weekend.
And blog reading can be pay off too — especially if you read this one 🙂 Get in on this BOGOF offer: buy one copy of Joy At Work and get the second one free (for your boss or co-worker). Offer good through April 30, 2005; use promotional code JYATWRK295AZ at checkout. You read it here first! (okay, second, according to Technorati; Management Craft has a great email to send to a boss)
