Dallas blogging

In Dallas now through the weekend. I lived here in the early 90s during my seminary days. That was 10 years ago. This place grows like wild fire, absorbing surburb after suburb. They call the outer suburbs the exurb now. Here for business, and extended my stay to visit with some ol’ friends. I hope to get an excursion to Asian Mint, an Asian fusion cafe and dessert bar – just found out about it in Where magazine.

And this morning, I find out one of my newer colleages and friends, Jim Killion, is going through chemo for cancer next week. And he’s joined the blogosphere – blogging about it at Out of My Mind, jck.typepad.com. I’m sure there’s a great story behind the name of the blog.
