calm before the Forum
Hangin’ out here at Gachet Coffee Lounge in the Lower Greenville area of Dallas, Texas. Their website doesn’t reflect well on the great vibe here. I love the large size portaits of people with signs on the walls, the ambiance, and of course, free WIFI.
Then tomorrow night, the national event (Asian American Youthworkers Forum) I’ve been planning for and organizing by my lonesome b/c the people that were going to help had to bail due to personal reasons, kicks off, and I’ll be busy through Wednesday afternoon. I should not be blogging during the event, but I may sneak online to blow off some steam. 🙂
[update: Dave Gibbons is now blogging from NewSong Bangkok]
And just saw myself on Google Video, from a session on blogging at an April 2005 conference.. boy I use my hands a lot! Maybe too much Italian food? I do love Italian food. [ht: knightopia]
May God rewards your faithfulness in preparing for the conference and let you get a glimpse of his glory…
Didn’t realize you were the main organizer. I just wanted to say that I appreciate your efforts, and applaud your dedication. If you need any help, let me know.
See ya in the morn.
Checking in…
Back when Joe Dvorak was doing our strengths – yours and mine were similar. Now that I am trying to determine what to do with the next several years of my life, I learn that you put conferences on… and I imagine a ton more than that. I would appreciate a discussion at some point – when you’ve got the time.
Also, I was reading one of your older posts and learned your wife went to Biola. My daughter (who was in DC a few weeks back and loved it) is a graduating senior at Biola. She works with the Apologetics staff, is a journalist and a Torrey student (which means she knows Dr. John Mark Reynolds) and is an event coordinator.
