blank stares

the looming message for me the past day or so has been: patience.. many people don’t know the things I know, and I don’t know the things they know.. so it’ll take a lot more conversations to get engagement, rather than wanting so badly to jump into a big dialogue.. I mention blogging to some key people, and I got blank stares back 🙁 but the better news is I got to meet a fellow blogger (on xanga) in person last night– hope to get a conversation with him before the weekend is out. For those of you curious, I’m at an Asian American Leadership/ Identity/ Ethnicity Conference, with mostly college students in the Southeast corridor (if I may call this geography that).. a real dream come true for those who had it on their heart for years!
