back to metro DC, being welcomed by a snowstorm that came out of I don’t know where.. then again, I don’t know b/c I wasn’t watching the weather forecasts while being on vacation for the past couple of weeks. Was around some English teachers this past weekend, and they shared a dislike for lowercase “i”s in emails they receive, so that’s why this blog entry has better grammar than average. 🙂 Skipped dinner last night and got extra sleep, and now I think I’m back in sync to east coast time. Not too much brain activity, nor keyboard activity, while on vacation, and that’s a good thing. One of the few thoughts that transpired was: where can I go to find good conversations? We all know the large noise-to-signal ratio online with chat rooms and message boards; and it’d be better to have live in-person conversations and dialogues. An idea I’m hoping to explore is a local book club in my area.. do you have an idea?
