EricDear Deef and Chuang family,

My deepest condolences for your loss. I just heard of this, and although I only met you, Deef, once at a PSP/CBD meeting I can tell simply by your presence there, aside from all the helpful things you shared with everyone, how much you love your Dad. It’s very moving to see that kind of devotion, and to see from this website how close-knit a family you all are.

May God bless you all,
Eric

Marian Popeske 宋世謙Thank you for sharing the photographs, and videos with us. we are very touched. We were glad that we have known you all. Thanks again. Marian
mbsThank you for sharing your dad’s memorial service, and video with your brother, with me. Your dad seemed to be a very intelligent and dedicated father. He sacrificed himself in so many ways for his family. What an honor to have such a father. Knowing your character shows that his devotion paid off. I can only imagine how proud he must have been of you.

I pray for peace for your family in this time of transition.

LanyHi Kuya Deef and Mrs. Chuang and the rest of the family,

We were really sad to hear of the Chuang’s Patriarch’s passing, know that you are all always in my thoughts and prayers. Kuya, you know you are the bestest older brother anyone could ever wish for. And from knowing and loving you, I know you’re family is strong, wise and loyal to each other, because that’s the kind of person you are to me, to us. This is a phase in life that we all have to go through because we are a family. but because we are a family, we will never be alone. Even those who have passed will stay and watch over us forever.

Stay strong, stay firm in faith, in God.

Love you much Kuya D! Peace!

It is good to see you peaceful during this time of transition. Sharona shocked me with the news. I can see that you are a strong support for your mother. Please know that I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. Monita

I’m so sorry about your dad. I know what a difficult journey it has been. Your dad was lucky to have such a caring and knowledgeable caregiver, and I know your mom was blessed to have you there to help. I know you were glad, too, to have the time with your dad. He was lucky to be surrounded by love.
Hugs to you and your mom, Kathy

I am deeply saddened by the passing of your adored father. I hope that the spirits of our universe surround him with love and light as his soul is transported to a place with no pain and no disease. I will enjoy the postings you have made and I wish for you and your family peace and love during your mourning period.
love and light, Bonnie G.

Thanks for letting us know of your Dad’s passing. I remember your sharings about the process of caretaking, both its challenges and joys. I particularly appreciated attending that film “Griefwalker” with Sau and you last fall. It’s clear from the Website that your Dad was quite a person. (Based on his offspring, I’m not surprised!) Our sincere condolences to you and your family, with deep appreciation for the way you are celebrating your Dad’s life.
Love and Light, John and Andrea

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I know how much you cared for him and your mother during the past few years, and how difficult a time this must be for you and your family. I watched the slide show, and it is so moving to see the pictures of you and your family – what an amazing family you have and what an inspiring life your father led!
Wishing you and your family peace and comfort during this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I appreciate your sharing this email with me. As well, I appreciate your sharing that your role as caregiver to your Dad was both challenging and rewarding and that this experience enriched your life. Your Dad was lucky to have you. I am not sure what words would provide you comfort at this time of mourning. My sympathy to you and your family. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.
Warmest Regards, Helene

I am so sorry about your loss. Being the caregiver along with your mom, I know it was a very difficult yet deeply meaningful journey for you. I really appreciate how you honor the memory and legacy of your father, and it gave me a lot of food for thought. Thanks for including me in this sharing.
Love, metta & white light to you and your family… Sau

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father whom I call Uncle Chuang… Please send our deepest condolence to your mother and the rest of your family…
I got to know them through Aunt Sung and your parents were such a great friend to my mother who was then in Winchester while I went to school at Shenandoah University…My mother and I dropped by often to borrow some Chinese movies and dramas and each time was greeted with greatest hospitality.
Your father is very hard-working and caring…He always talks about you guys and was really proud of all of you!!! Your mom is working extremely hard too. I have tremendous respect for them…My parents are the same way, hard working and care for the children so much to sacrifice for the children to have a good living…We are so blessed to have parents like this… Take care, linda
