Best way to answer the question “What’s going on with new gtlds? I’m finding it very difficult to get any decent information about the new gtlds that are being released” is to keep up with the bloggers that are good about posting frequent updates with current news and information about new gTLDs, aka the Internet namespace expansion program.
Things are developing very quickly and traditional media seem to be comparatively slower at publishing the daily news about new gTLDs. There are a handful of bloggers that are pretty good about post daily updates.
