Bloggers are part of the marketing process now, for those who want to be. It doesn’t pay all that much, but I’ve probably accumulated at least a dozen free books so far.
For those who aren’t bloggers yet, we know there are many more blog readers than blog writers), you can start a new blog in 5 minutes or less at wordpress.com or blogger.com lickity-split. And I’ve just found out that blog readership is much higher in Asia (Korea, Japan, even China) than America, don’t know what’s up with that. [ht: Micro Persuasion via Joseph Suh] What I’m more curious about is blogging (blog writing) among Asian Americans, which my hunch tells me doesn’t happen all that much, in comparison to the 95% non-Asians in America.
There’s now a 2nd round of free book giveaways for the Earl Creps title, Off-Road Disciplines: Spiritual Adventures of Missional Leaders. 50 of them up for grabs; spread the word + get the details over at the Leadership Network book blog. It’s also the book of the month, and I’ve got a phone call with Dr. Creps later today to say hello.

I bought this book at Hearts and Minds Bookstore in Dallastown, PA on January 2. I just found it in the pastoral leadership section of the store. It looked good so I bought it. I have only read the first chapter but I’m thinking if the rest of it is like this first installment then it is a great book. I will write a review when I’m done.
