I'd kind of known it in the abstract, but translating it into the practical and specific had always been challenging for me. I have to confess that I've never liked managing money. Not that I don't want enough money to provide for me and my family's needs, and to have enough to give to others, nor am I in a financial crisis, but the teachings at the conference helped me to realize that if I can better manage money that's been entrusted by God to me, that I could experience more freedom and more joy in giving and the rest of life. And, there are helpful tools and resources for me to learn to do that. I still won't love it, but it is a good thing.
