N.T. Wright, Bishop of Durham—Church of England

N.T. Wright is Bishop of Durham for the Church of England (northeast England includes 290 parishes). He is one of today’s leading theologians and biblical scholars and author of Jesus and the Victory of God, which is widely regarded as one of the most significant studies in the contemporary “Third Quest” of the historical Jesus. N. T. Wright has taught New Testament studies for twenty years at Cambridge, McGill, and Oxford Universities. Among his many published works are The Challenge of Jesus, The Meaning of Jesus (with Marcus Borg), and What Saint Paul Really Said.

For two thousand years, Christianity has claimed to solve the great mysteries of life—Why do we expect justice? Why do we crave spirituality? Why are relationships so painful? Most important, How will the world be made right? N.T. Wright will lead us in an exploration of these questions and their connection to the heart of who God is and what he wants from us.
