My Windows PC is not recognizing my iPod, like it has for over a year and a half. I’m connecting up the mini-dock via a FireWire cable like before. I’ve got iTunes 4.8. I’ve tried rebooting the PC. I’ve reset the iPod several times. I’ve started running diagnostic tests for my 10GB iPod. Is this the end of my podcasting listening days? Am I stuck with the songs on my iPod until I erase it?
We had the same problem. It was the firewire connection that was at fault. It needed to be turned on again. The other alternative is to use the USB connection.
