Now, probably some liberals and/or atheists won’t like the purpose-driven quote to come, hinted at in: Starbucks stirs things up with a God quote on cups
“Coffee drinkers could get a spiritual jolt with their java in the spring when Starbucks begins putting a God-filled quote from the Rev. Rick Warren, author of the mega-selling The Purpose-Driven Life, on its cups.”
Good chance the quotes will be selected from the 40 Purpose-Driven Bullet Points.

Augh…I’m one of those “conservatives” who does not like the advancement of the gay agenda at Starbucks – because they aren’t supporting just the gay agenda, they also support child molesters.
As for going back to Starbucks, because I haven’t purchased anything since I found out the gay junk, Rick Warren’s quotes aren’t any motivation at all. Augh…
Oh – I see there is yet another person who doesn’t realize that gay and pedophile are not the same word.
Love it or hate it, Starbucks is all about standing behind its image, product and people. They stand up for Alanis Morrisette, Bob Dylan and Ray Charles as some of the finest artists of our time. They stood in the face of criticism over Armistead Maupin’s proclamation that “Life is too damn short” to have repressed his homosexuality. Genius and the power of “right,” like good coffee, are worth standing behind. Anything on a coffee cup that must be coupled with a disclaimer, as Starbucks will do with the Warren quotes, is an obvious recognition that they can’t stand behind it.
When Starbucks starts peddling some right wingnut’s ideas about “faith” with their coffee, I will settle for finding a cup without the proselytizing.
